DeVeglio's Fresh Pasta Italian Market: Authentic Italian Flavors in Myrtle Beach

Absolute class act! I travel over nine hours for a softball tournament and make it a point to stop here every single time. Everything is prepared with so much love and care you truly feel like family from the moment you walk in. They treat you like you belong there! I even had the pleasure of meeting the chef’s wife and enjoyed such a warm, wonderful conversation. She recommended so many delicious treats, and every suggestion was spot on. The real showstopper, though, was the rainbow cookies they are an absolute must-have! I can’t recommend this place enough.

I don’t normally waste my time to write reviews because I have so many other things to worry about. But I wanted to take a few minutes to give high marks to DeVeglio’s. Truthfully, I stopped by here on my way back home from work because I was getting hungry and hadn’t thought about dinner. I drive by the place daily and often wondered if it was any good. I ordered the Italian hero along with some pasta salad. It is one of the best sandwiches I have had in some time. A lot of the food/restaurants are just ok in my mind. Having lived in bigger cities, the food can be underwhelming. But both my girlfriend and I were blown away by how delicious it was. I would strongly recommend you give this place a try if you’re on the fence or unsure. Why would you go to Jersey Mike’s when you can get a much more delicious and hearty Italian hero here? Everything tasted fresh from the bread, to the ingredients. They slice the deli meat in front of you. Their house dressing was also delicious and not overpowering. I have not had the chance to try their pasta but I would assume it’s also delicious. The ingredient label is perfect: flour, eggs and water. No fillers or other terrible preservatives. Their sauces are the same. I hope that DeVeglio’s gets increased foot traffic - seriously, it was absolutely delicious. The one thing to know is that they stop making the hot sandwiches after 3:30. I hope to get done early enough from work next time to try them in the future.

We recently started shopping with DeVeglio’s after we discovered they have the best fresh pasta in the area - hands down. We’ve tried their Italian deli meats as well and have been very impressed with the availability and quality of our family’s favorites like Mortadella and Guanciale (if you’re a charcuterie aficionado, you must drop in to pick up freshly sliced meats and cheese - huge improvement from your usual prepackaged prosciutto etc.). For a birthday party, we decided to use DeVeglio’s catering since we’ve been so happy shopping their usual offerings, and we could not have made a better decision. For our group of 10, we ordered: Antipasta, Bruschetta, Rice Balls, Veal Sorrentino, Carbonara (with their homemade Rigatoni Mezzi), and Cannoli. This was the best pick up catering experience, and as a former Event Planner that’s saying something. From the start, the owners made great recommendations for what we were trying to accomplish, the prices were beyond reasonable for the wonderful quality and quantity of food, and they made it so easy. Every guest was full by the end of the meal and there was no effort on our end to get folks to take leftovers home (though we would have gladly not shared). I very highly recommend this shop. Whether you’re cooking for two or catering for 10, DeVeglio’s will give you a little Italian luxury any time you want. (I’m not a great photographer, my photos don’t do it justice!)

This place has the best Italian hoagie I've ever had.. I'm sitting in the parking lot eating it I'm not even finished and I'm making this review... This is no doubtedly the best sandwich in Myrtle Beach there's so many people going next door to Jersey Mike's only because they don't know. So y'all see this review y'all need to sign outside saying y'all sell sandwiches because Jesus Christ. Real Italian bread freshly sliced meats I mean they have everything in there all types of different pastas and olive oils and cannolis this is the place you want to be for the best hoagie in the world..

DeVeglio's is an unbelievable experience the 1st time you walk in! Truly an Italian market with everything and anything you could imagine. Keep in mind, I went in hungry with a fatboy mind set and spent about $40 on some of the freshest Italian cuisine I've had since I was a kid. Chicken parm was crazy good, lobster Mac n cheese was ohhhh myyyy, and desert definitely proved that I'm a gluten. Tiramisu! All food is made fresh on site (only the bread is brought in from Jersey i believe) and ready to take home to warm up or eat cold like I did.....seriously, wasn't waiting the 10 minutes it would of taken....I was that hungry and it was very much so still that darn good! Flavor in all 3 items was off the charts. DeVeglio's also doubles as a true Italian Market. Great ingredients there if you are particular about the stuffed shells or manacotti you like to make at home. Overall, I would highly recommend trying this spot atleast once! Looking forward to going back again and only hoping that my patience and stomach allow me to wait those 10 minutes to warm it up....then again, 2nd day cold lasagna is always the way to go

We've been shopping at DeVeglio's for a few weeks now but we wish we went sooner! Everything we've had has been delicious, fresh, flavorful and definitely worth the trip. The family is very friendly and welcoming too. Today we tried their Sicilian Salad Hero sandwich and the Italian cheese cake. A perfect Sunday Funday lunch before we hit the pool. If you haven't visited DeVeglios yet, you're definitely missing out on some great homemade dishes.

The absolute best! If you are from Long Island, you will feel at home. If you want to know what GREAT Italian food tastes like, what a great NY deli really is, come here! The hero’s are awesome. We had the meatball parm and it soooo good. Real meat, real sauce on the most awesome bread. The soups are amazing. We drive from Conway just for my husband to have their soup. It’s worth the trip. And the frozen ravioli and pasta are really good. How can you beat lobster ravioli or crab or even just cheese. Love this place!

The Ferrari of Italian Sandwiches here in Myrtle Beach. They are done fully legit, on Semolina Bread, spiced adequately, not overstuffed, and balanced, giving you a sandwhich you couldn't eat fast even if you wanted to. If you're from up north and want a 1:1 Italian hero like you know from back home, this should be your one and only destination.
